The Inge is a handmade Viking watch in a natural bamboo case, 4.5 cm across with a 35 mm dial under 1.5 mm mineral glass, a Japanese Miyota movement and an adjustable genuine leather band. Its dial carries the Helm of Awe, or Aegishjalmur, ringed by a circle of runes, and the back cover can be engraved with a name, date or one of six Norse sayings. The stave as it is drawn today is known from later Icelandic manuscripts rather than from Viking-Age finds.
