FRAGEN

Häufige Fragen

What fits inside this box?
The inside measures 420 x 145 x 85 mm (16.53 x 5.70 x 3.34 in). It is shaped to hold a hammer, and the listing notes it also suits blades or other valued tools. The 85 mm inside depth is what allows a thicker head, so measure against the inside figures, not the 450 x 175 x 100 mm outside size.
What is the box made of, and how heavy is it?
Solid ash wood, and it weighs 1.8 kg (4.10 lb).
What is the Vegvisir carved on the lid?
The Vegvisir is the Icelandic sigil usually sold as a Viking compass. Dated honestly, the design as drawn comes from 19th-century Icelandic manuscripts and charm books rather than from Viking-Age finds, and those books record a belief that it kept a traveller from losing the way in bad weather.
Can I have my own rune or logo engraved?
Yes. The outer lid carries the standard Vegvisir, and custom engraving inside the lid is available, as are custom dimensions on request. Send your name, rune or logo to support@vikingsbrand.co.
How is it shipped, and can I return it?
It ships tracked, and orders over $129 qualify for free worldwide shipping, applied automatically at checkout. Returns are accepted within 30 days if the box is unused and in its original packaging.
