An 18-inch drinking horn in natural horn, hand-engraved with the Vegvísir, the Icelandic wayfinding stave, between geometric bands at the rim and the base. It comes with a horn stand, a leather belt holder and a burlap gift bag. Every horn is hand-picked, hand-polished and hand-engraved, so the shape, colour and grain of yours will differ a little from the photos.

The Vegvísir is known from a nineteenth-century Icelandic manuscript of magical staves, where it is said to keep the bearer from losing the way in bad weather; it is a later Icelandic symbol rather than a Viking-Age one.
