It is the reversed colourway of the same split black-and-white wolf artwork. Version number 2 has the black hood over a mainly white body, while the first version has the white hood over a mainly black body.
What is the story behind the two wolves?
Skoll and Hati are the wolves of Norse myth that chase the sun and the moon, and the chase is said to end at Ragnarok when the wolf catches its quarry. The print pairs them with a sun and a moon, but the sources disagree about which wolf runs after which light, so we do not assign them.
