The back text is the Valhalla prayer from the 1999 film The 13th Warrior, a modern line that drew loosely on Ibn Fadlan's account of a Rus funeral on the Volga. The Yggdrasil trees on the front are the world tree of Norse myth, and the midwinter feast the sweater nods to is Yule, which still has its own traditions. This is one of two print versions of the design; see the whole line in our Fa La La La La Valhalla sweaters collection.

QUESTIONS

Questions fréquentes

What is this Valhalla Yule sweater made from?
It is a cut-and-sew sweater in 100% polyester with performance insulation, printed all over before the panels are sewn together.
What is printed on the back?
The back carries the "Lo, there do I see my father" Valhalla prayer, the version made famous by the 1999 film The 13th Warrior, which drew loosely on Ibn Fadlan's 10th-century account of a Rus funeral.
How is it different from the other Valhalla Yule sweater?
It is a separate version of the design from a different print partner: 100% polyester, with its own placement and scale of the Yggdrasil trees and knotwork.
How long does delivery take?
Production takes up to 10 days because each sweater is cut and sewn to order. Delivery then takes 3 to 14 days in the USA or 2 to 4 weeks worldwide, with tracking included. Free worldwide shipping applies to orders over $129.
Can I return it if the fit is wrong?
Yes. VikingsBrand accepts returns within 30 days if the sweater is unused and in its original packaging, and every order ships tracked.
