Honest history note: the Vegvísir is not a Viking-Age find — it appears in later Icelandic manuscripts such as the 19th-century Huld manuscript, where it is described as a stave that helps the bearer find their way through rough weather. That later origin doesn't make it less loved; it has become one of the most popular symbols in modern Norse-inspired design, here in a striking red colorway (this design also comes in blue).
