This Privacy Policy describes how DB Ecom Group LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), trading as VikingsBrand, collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from vikingsbrand.co (the “Site”).

Information we collect
Device information. When you visit the Site we automatically collect information about your device, including browser type, IP address, time zone, and cookies installed on your device. We also collect information about the pages and products you view, the site or search terms that referred you, and how you interact with the Site. We collect this using cookies, server log files, and tracking pixels and tags.
Order information. When you place or attempt to place an order we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information. Full card numbers are handled by our payment processors and are never stored on our systems.
Personalisation information. If you order an engraved or personalised item, we collect the names, runes, dates or text you supply for that engraving. We retain it only as long as needed to produce and support your order.
Communications. If you email us, subscribe to our newsletter, or submit a review, we retain the content of that communication and your contact details.
How we use your information
- To fulfil orders: processing payment, arranging shipping, and sending order confirmations, invoices and tracking updates.
- To provide customer support and handle returns, exchanges and warranty claims.
- To screen orders for fraud and payment risk.
- To send marketing emails about our products, where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To improve the Site through analytics, and to measure the performance of our advertising.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the following service providers, only as needed to run our business:
- Shopify Inc. — e-commerce platform hosting the Site and processing orders. Shopify Privacy Policy
- Payment processors — Shopify Payments, PayPal and other providers shown at checkout, to take payment.

- Meta Platforms — advertising on Facebook and Instagram, and conversion measurement. Meta Privacy Policy
- Fulfilment and shipping partners — the independent workshops, print facilities and warehouses that produce and dispatch our products, and carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL. They receive only the name, address and order details needed to produce and deliver your order, including any engraving text you supply. Some of these partners are located outside your country of residence.
We may also disclose information to comply with applicable law, to respond to a lawful request such as a subpoena or warrant, or to protect our legal rights.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one. We do not otherwise alter our data collection in response to Do Not Track signals, because no common standard for them exists.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit the Site. We use them in four ways: strictly necessary cookies that let you sign in and keep items in your cart; analytics cookies that show us how the Site is used; functionality cookies that remember your preferences; and marketing cookies that measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the cart and account areas will not work without the strictly necessary ones.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, port or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. We process your data to perform our contract with you when you place an order, on the basis of your consent for marketing, and on the basis of our legitimate interests for fraud prevention and site improvement. Your information is transferred to and stored in the United States. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Exercising these rights will not result in discriminatory treatment.

Data retention
We retain order information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and thereafter for the period required by applicable law. Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS and payment data is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we maintain appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information.
Minors
The Site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
