The "Njord" is a fully functional, hand-forged Viking axe in high-carbon AISI 1065 steel, named after Njörðr, the Norse god of the sea, wind and prosperity. Hardened to ~48–54 HRC on an ash handle with a leather wrap, it's built for reenactment and outdoor work as much as display.
