QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

What is the Helm of Awe?
The Helm of Awe, Aegishjalmur, is an eight armed protective stave. As drawn today it comes from Icelandic grimoires of the 1600s and 1800s rather than Viking Age archaeology, although the name appears earlier in Old Norse poetry.
Do you make this ring with other symbols?
Yes. The same band is made with the Helm of Awe, Yggdrasil and Sleipnir on the face, each listed separately.
How heavy is it?
9 g in 925 sterling silver.
What sizes can I order?
US 6 to 15, made individually in the size you order. It is handmade to order in 3 to 15 days, and we can also make it in 14k or 18k gold on request.
