The Knut is a handmade Viking wooden watch built around the Vegvisir, the Norse wayfinder, a runic stave said to keep its bearer from losing their way. Its dial is ringed with a full circle of Norse runes, and the back is engraved with the Norse saying “Honor the Gods, Love Your Woman, Defend Your Kin.” A precise Japanese Miyota movement sits inside a natural bamboo case, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
