Urnes is a real, named Viking-Age art style — the last of them, dated to the 11th–12th centuries and named after the carved portal of the Urnes stave church in Norway. It is recognized by slender, stylized creatures woven into elegant flowing loops, and this ring wraps the Valknut, Odin's symbol of three interlocked triangles, in exactly that interlace. Unlike our bold-faced Valknut rings, the drama here is in the fine linework. Explore more Valknut jewelry or the full 925 sterling silver collection.
