The Valhalla Bearded Axe is a handmade one-handed axe, approx. 18 in (45.7 cm) overall, with a high-carbon steel head hardened to 58–60 HRC and acid-etched with interlaced knotwork. The handle is ash wood, and a hand-stitched leather sheath is included.

A compact bearded axe

The head has the long lower edge of a bearded axe, and its whole face is acid-etched so that broad interlaced ribbons stand pale against a darker ground. The curved ash handle swells towards the end for a secure one-handed grip. The edge ships sharpened. Care

High-carbon steel is not stainless. Clean the head with mild soap and water, dry it thoroughly, and apply a light coat of oil after use. Store the axe outside its leather sheath.
